For over a decade, I wrestled with the mean lady in my head.
The one that says you're an idiot.
You're too much.
You're not enough.
You're too late.
You know that one.
The one that's RELENTLESS.
Its only goal? Stop you from becoming who God created you to be.
And it is very good at its job.
But so am I.
And unlike that voice, I'm actually on your side.
I kept going anyway.
I moved to Hollywood.
I started speaking.
I said yes to opportunities I wasn't sure I was ready for.
I even said yes to a role I wasn't sure I could pull off.
Spoiler: I wasn't that good.
It ended up on Netflix anyway.
